Notice of appointment—New coordinator of the Insurance Law and Civil Litigation Group

Pierre Moreau, Bélanger Sauvé’s Managing Partner and member of the firm’s Executive Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of Karine Boily as coordinator of the firm’s Insurance Law and Civil Litigation Group. She took up her new position in September of this year at Belanger Sauvé’s Montreal office.

Since her admission to the Barreau du Québec in 2000, Ms. Boily has practised for over 20 years in the area of insurance law. Respected and appreciated by her colleagues and insurance industry peers, she has acquired a solid reputation for her thoroughness, competence and professionalism and the high quality of her services. She is also an active and involved member of the Association des femmes d’assurance du Québec.

Karine Boily joined the firm’s Insurance Law Group in 2021 and was made partner the following year. She has an LL.B and a degree in criminology from the Université de Montréal.

Before joining the Belanger Sauvé team, Ms. Boily acquired her experience at various Montreal law firms specializing in insurance law.

Her expertise, knowledge and experience are undeniable assets for Bélanger Sauvé and we are extremely pleased that she has agreed to take on this new mandate.
