Bélanger Sauvé is pleased to welcome to its Montreal office a new articling student who charmed the firm’s university recruitment team during the Course aux stages 2021.

In September 2023, Stéphanie Bégin joined Bélanger Sauvé’s Montreal office where she will fulfill the École du Barreau’s six-month training requirement.

During that period, this future lawyer will be able to draw on the expertise of our lawyers and our legal and administrative support staff so that she can put into practice what she learned in the course of her university studies and successfully complete her legal training.

After graduating in law from the University of Ottawa, Stéphanie was immediately impressed by opportunities for hands-on involvement that Bélanger Sauvé offers its articling students, thus preparing them for the practice of law and providing them with an opportunity to realize their full potential.

“I decided to article at Bélanger Sauvé because the firm has an excellent work environment, a team-based culture of collaboration and a commitment to investing in the next generation of lawyers,” Stéphanie said.

“From day one, everyone at Bélanger Sauvé gave me a warm welcome”, she added. “I felt genuinely supported right from the start.”

Before embarking on her internship at Bélanger Sauvé and before going to law school, Stéphanie attended O’Sullivan College, graduating with a diploma in paralegal technology. She acquired solid experience in the legal field working as a paralegal for three years at two law firms. Later, as a law student at the University of Ottawa, she seized an opportunity to broaden her knowledge and gained valuable experience working in the Clerk’s Office of the Town of Bromont and with the legal team at Sharethrough Inc. Building on that experience, she now enthusiastically begins her professional training at Bélanger Sauvé.

“I consider myself extremely fortunate to be part of the extended Bélanger Sauvé family!”, she said.
