Two new stagiaires

Table of Contents

On June 3 of this year, Bélanger Sauvé welcomed two new articling students: Béatrice Labrie in our Montreal office and Vincent Lamy in our Trois-Rivières office. Over the next six months, they will have the opportunity to work with the firm’s experienced lawyers to complete their legal training.

Béatrice Labrie  completed her law degree at the Université de Montréal and participated in a one-term university exchange at University College Cork in Ireland. While she was in law school, Béatrice worked at the Commission des normes du travail de la CNESST and volunteered at the legal clinic specializing in business start-ups.

I’m so pleased to be joining the Bélanger Sauvé team as part of the Bar’s articling requirement. I’m very grateful for this opportunity to learn from experienced lawyers, while discovering varied and stimulating areas of practice.

In talking to members of the team, I was struck by their passion for law, as well as the collegial atmosphere at the firm. I’m confident that my experience at Bélanger Sauvé will be a great learning experience.

We are delighted that Béatrice has chosen to join our firm and that she will be able to begin her professional career in the coming months.

Vincent Lamy earned his law degree at the Université de Sherbrooke. He joins the firm after starting with Bélanger Sauvé as a student, and after successfully completing his École du Barreau courses, continues his training with us as an articling student. Vincent was an engaged law student, representing the 2020-2023 cohort on his university’s Program Representatives Committee and taking part in UN simulations.

It was a great pleasure to meet up with the Bélanger Sauvé team again for my Bar articling period.

When I worked at the firm last summer as a student. I was warmly welcomed and made to feel like a fully-fledged member of the team. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I see my Bar articling period as a golden opportunity to continue developing and learning from seasoned professionals.

I’m so glad to be back!

We are delighted to be able to count on Vincent once again. During his time as a student, he showed a keen interest in our practice areas and the needs of our clients .
