New talent at Bélanger Sauvé

Bélanger Sauvé now has an even greater pool of talent and expertise that it can rely on to meet the needs of its clients: in the past six months, five lawyers have joined the firm.

These new recruits in labour and employment law, insurance law and civil litigation, municipal and administrative law, join a diversified team of some 50 lawyers dedicated to the fair and rigorous representation of the government bodies and private businesses that call upon our services.

Étienne Rivet-Dumontet joined the Labour and Employment Law Group on July 18, 2022. In addition to advising and assisting employers on labour relations matters, he is actively involved with the next generation of lawyers and the firm’s clients by participating in conferences, training sessions and workshops. He is currently completing a graduate degree in conflict resolution and prevention and at the Université de Sherbrooke.

Nicholas Hébert-Gauthier joined the firm’s Insurance and Civil Litigation Group on August 1, 2022. He gained expertise and developed solid relationships with Bélanger Sauvé’s clients during his articling period at the École du Barreau, which he completed at our firm. His resourcefulness and intellectual curiosity make him a highly capable and trustworthy lawyer who can provide you with skillful assistance and guidance.

Pierre-François McNicolls joined the Municipal and Administrative Law Group on August 15, 2022. A member of the Bar since 2011, he advises and counsels clients in matters relating to civil and commercial litigation, construction law and administrative law. In addition to representing Bélanger Sauvé’s clients before the courts of first instance and the courts of appeal, his expertise also includes the handling of applications for urgent and extraordinary remedies.

Stéphanie Chayer-Testa joined the Labour and Employment Law Group on October 3, 2022. The firm relies on her solid experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. In her practice, she is also called up to work on cases involving various aspects of labour law. Notably, she has conducted investigations of complaints of psychological harassment in the workplace.

Veronika Kiryanova joined the Municipal and Administrative Law Group on January 9, 2023. A member of the Quebec Bar since 2021, her practice is focused primarily on municipal and penal law. For the past two years, she worked as counsel for a municipality in the Centre-du-Québec region, where she handled various legal matters. Given her extensive experience in municipal litigation, Ms. Kiryanova is assuredly equipped to assess and target the needs of Bélanger Sauvé’s clients.
