Pierre
Moreau
Pierre Moreau is Bélanger Sauvé’s Managing Partner since February 11, 2019.
He obtained his law degree from Université Laval in 1980 and has practised public and administrative law since his call to the Barreau du Québec in 1982. He also taught public and administrative law at the Barreau du Québec’s École de formation professionnelle from 1996 to 2003.
He entered the political arena in 2003 when he was elected MNA for Marguerite-D’Youville. He was then re-elected in 2008, 2012 and 2014 as MNA for Châteauguay. He successively served as Chief Government Whip, Minister responsible for the Reform of Democratic Institutions and Access to Information and Minister responsible for Canadian Intergovernmental Affairs and the Canadian Francophonie, Minister of Transport, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Land Occupancy, Acting Minister of Public Security, President of the Treasury Board and Minister responsible for Government Administration and Ongoing Program Review and Minister of Energy and Natural Resources.
